Sparta Properties Nears Completion of Construction for New Suites at Grace Hotel Santorini
Libra Group real estate subsidiary nears completion of the construction for new suites at its celebrated Grace Hotel Santorini.
[January 31, 2024] — Sparta Properties, one of Libra Group’s real estate subsidiaries that owns and manages a global portfolio of properties, is nearing completion of the construction for new suites at its celebrated Grace Hotel Santorini. This multi-million capital expenditure project will create new suites at the much sought-after hotel, recognized by Travel + Leisure as the second-best hotel in the world, as well as the No. 1 European Resort Hotel and the No. 1 Resort in Greece. The hotel also features a Greek fine dining restaurant, Varoulko Santorini, operated by Michelin-awarded chef Lefteris Lazarou.
The new suites hang on the cliffs of Imerovigli above Santorini’s dramatic caldera, created by the Minoan eruption about 3,600 years ago. Each suite has an infinity plunge pool with views of the Aegean Sea, bathed in an ethereal light unique to Santorini.
Santorini is an island in Greece’s Cyclades group. It is famous for dramatic views, stunning sunsets, the vibrant town of Thira, and its very own active volcano. Santorini is also home to the “Akrotiri settlement,” a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The new suites will open in time for the summer 2024 season – and feature king-size beds and a generous living room area with a full range of amenities, including a breakfast bar – all embodying the elegant simplicity that defines Grace Hotel, Auberge Resorts Collection. Luxury resort specialists, Auberge Resorts Collection, manage the hotel.
