How has your current role evolved, and what are your responsibilities?
Since joining Libra Group in 2023, I have deepened my understanding of the company’s goals, industry trends, and market dynamics, allowing me to contribute more meaningfully to strategic discussions.
My primary responsibility is to ensure that our Chief Executive Officer remains productive and efficient. A key aspect of my role involves coordinating the logistics and protocol for the CEO’s events, meetings, and travel, ensuring seamless execution. I also support the implementation of the CEO’s business priorities, both internally and externally.
I oversee various business initiatives from the CEO’s office, following their development through successful execution. I assist and communicate with different executives, supporting program management and initiative implementation.
I strive to anticipate the needs of leadership and the organization before they arise. I actively seek feedback and use it constructively to improve my performance and the organization’s processes. The guidance and mentorship of our CEO has been invaluable in helping me navigate challenges and gain new perspectives that contribute to my growth.
What advice would you give to young people who are beginning their careers?
First and foremost, exercise humility. Stay true to your values and be honest about your strengths and limitations—concentrate on a few big things. Overcoming fear, being willing to risk failure, and turning mistakes into learning opportunities are necessary for growth and resilience. Asking good questions and saying “yes” to hard challenges will accelerate both personal and professional development. Strive for excellence and aim to be the best version of yourself.
Sometimes, taking the road less traveled can lead to unexpected and rewarding opportunities—no job is too big or too small. Being flexible and adaptable, as well as having the ability to pivot and approach problems in new ways is very valuable.
How can someone grow in their career or role at Libra Group?
Building strong relationships with colleagues across departments provides invaluable insights into their roles, responsibilities, and challenges. Being a good listener and bringing fresh perspectives is always appreciated.
Make the most out of development resources—such as workshops and training programs—to enhance skills and knowledge. Taking on extra responsibilities and projects not only demonstrates value, but also increases visibility within the organization.
Showing authentic passion for Libra Group’s mission and workplace culture, combined with a drive to go above and beyond, are essential for growth. Demonstrating leadership qualities—even in non-leadership roles—by showing initiative, integrity, and professionalism signals a commitment to both personal success and the company’s overall mission.
What keeps you busy outside of work?
Outside of work, my most challenging but fulfilling role is being a mother to teenagers. Beyond family responsibilities, I enjoy reading and listening to podcasts, playing table tennis, socializing with friends, and volunteering at my local Greek community in Rye, NY. Hiking has been a passion of mine since I was five years old. I also play the piano, which provides a creative outlet for me.
