Muse by Jonathan Cartwright opens at Vanderbilt Grace
Grace Hotels, the award-winning luxury boutique hotel group, debuts Muse by Jonathan Cartwright at Vanderbilt Grace in Newport, Rhode Island. Vanderbilt Grace launched in April 2011 as the first Grace Hotels property in the United States. The international Grace Hotels also has hotels open and under development in the Greek Islands, Argentina and Panama. Jonathan Cartwright recently added the title of Grace Hotels’ Group Chef de Cuisine to his role as Grand Chef Relais & Châteaux at Vanderbilt Grace’s sister hotel, The White Barn Inn in Kennebunk, Maine.
With Muse, Chef Cartwright brings his modern take on traditional European cuisine to the historic Vanderbilt Grace. Diners can expect a menu rich with local specialties such as clam chowder, pan roast pheasant breast and smoked lobster, all infused with his passion for seasonal and local ingredients.
Commenting on the launch of Muse by Jonathan Cartwright, Grace Hotel’s CEO, Philippe Requin, said, “It is our goal to create a memorable dining experience for locals and visitors alike. Chef Cartwright has produced a menu that will set new standards for dining in Newport. Meanwhile, a brilliantly sympathetic interior design has given new life to the dining room while preserving the Beaux Arts sense of grandeur that defines Vanderbilt Grace.” Muse by Jonathan Cartwright is opened daily for dinner from 6:00pm to 10:00pm.
