Grace Santorini named Best Boutique Hotel at the European Hospitality Awards 2015
Grace Santorini has won the award for ‘Best Boutique Hotel’ at the European Hospitality
Awards at a ceremony held at the Royal Garden Hotel in London.
The European Hospitality Awards, now in their sixth year, recognise achievements in hotels throughout Europe in categories such as food and beverage, spa, rooms, new openings and renovations, service, consideration for the environment and innovation in technology. A panel of judges, consisting of senior industry leaders, consultants and architects, collaborate to decide on the winners in each category.
The Best Boutique Hotel category is open to hotels of between one and 100 rooms and aims to recognise, in particular, quality of service and hotel ambience. Nine hotels were shortlisted in this category, with Grace Santorini excelling in all areas examined by the judges, who described it as “effortlessly cool”.
Marco Novella, Chief Operating Officer, Grace Hotels, commented: “We are thrilled to have won this award amidst strong competition in the category and are proud of our team members who constantly strive to deliver exceptional experiences to our guests in every aspect of their stay. It is a truly idyllic retreat which is perfectly positioned to capture the breathtaking beauty of Santorini, bringing Greece once more to the forefront of hospitality in Europe.”
Grace Santorini enjoys magical views from a clifftop location in one of Greece’s most romantic holiday islands. With 21 luxurious rooms and suites, including a two-bedroom villa with private heated pool, a boutique spa and a restaurant offering outstanding dining experiences overlooking the iconic infinity pool, the hotel combines the Grace hallmark of elegance and simplicity for a truly memorable stay.
The award follows last year’s success for Grace Cafayate in Argentina, which was honoured with the title of ‘International Hotel of the Year’ within its first year of opening.
