7th Envolve Award Greece Winners announced

• 4 winners chosen from a pool of 10 finalists will share interest-free funding, mentoring and business support services
• The 7th winners’ announcement was streamed live to followers around the world
• Public vote named an additional three winners

On Monday, July 20th, Envolve Entrepreneurship announced the 4 winners of the 7th Envolve Award Greece (formerly the Hellenic Entrepreneurship Award), a contest for start-up and early-stage businesses in Greece. Hosted by Sakis Tanimanidis, the winners’ announcement took place in ATRAKTOS and was streamed live via Chorus Call Hellas’s webcasting services. This year’s competition winners are Collaborate Healthcare, Finclude, MOJOOLS and Rodi Pharmaceuticals, bringing the total number of winners to 31 since the programme was launched in 2012 by the Libra Group, on behalf of the Hellenic Initiative. They span diverse sectors including Fashion, Healthtech, Pharmaceuticals and Financial Services.  

The 4 winners of the competition will share interest-free funding, mentorship, as well as a wide range of business support services from Envolve’s network of partners. The winners were selected by the Panel of Judges from a diverse group of 10 finalists. The winners’ trophies were presented by the guest speakers at the live-streamed event.  

 The event was attended only by the finalists, officials and guest speakers, in keeping with the government’s public health directions and was sponsored by ATRAKTOS, Chorus Call Hellas, EENE, TYCO, Red Bull and Fotokiklosi S.A. The ceremony hosted government officials and business leaders: Spyridon – Adonis Georgiadis, Minister of Development and Investments, Christos Dimas, Deputy Minister of Research & Technology, Leonidas Christopoulos, Secretary-General of Digital Governance and Simplification of Procedures, Steve Vranakis, Chief Creative Officer at the Government of the Hellenic Republic, Peggy Antonakou, General Manager Southeast Europe at Google, Melina Taprantzi, Founder of Wise Greece, Fotis Karidas, Journalist and Communications Consultant, Jimmy Athanasopoulos, Greece Representative of Libra Group Social Responsibility and Chairman of Envolve Entrepreneurship and Alexandros Nousias, Country Director of Envolve Entrepreneurship in Greece.

 For a second consecutive year, the public had the opportunity to vote for their favourite finalists through the “#GetEnvolved Awards”. The winners of these cash prizes are:  

1st #GetEnvolved Award: Parkaround receiving the cheque of 3,000€. 

2nd #GetEnvolved Award: MOJOOLS receiving the cheque of 2,000€. 

3rd #GetEnvolved Award: Spaceprk receiving the cheque of 1,000€.
