Elandis refurbishes popular Miramar Playa Hotel on Spanish coast near Valencia

Elandis, Libra Group’s international hospitality and real estate ownership, development and property management company, has undertaken an extensive refurbishment of the Miramar Playa Hotel. Located in the Miramar neighborhood, close to Gandía, Valencia, on the eastern Spanish coast, the popular hotel near the seafront was acquired by Elandis last year.

Already a 3-star hotel with 108 keys, the Elandis renewal program included the creation of a series of new, high-specification Ocean View rooms on the upper floors of the hotel. In addition to redecoration, new TVs and upgraded Wi-Fi have been incorporated throughout the 53,800 sq ft-property as well as new mattresses in guest rooms from COCO-MAT, a Libra Group diversified investment. The cafeteria has been renovated to create a more spacious lounge area, and there are improvements to the ground-level terrace and next year the hotel will open a new rooftop terrace.

The hotel’s website (www.hotelmiramarplaya.es) has also been given an overhaul and relaunched with an improved user experience and booking engine. Elandis has its own Property Management division which oversaw the refurbishment and will continue to maintain the hotel and its amenities to a high standard.

Valencia is amongst the top destinations in Spain for the quality of its beaches and sunshine hours. Its many resorts regularly attract critical acclaim and were visited by 27 million tourists in 2017, a number which is expected to have increased this year and with sustained growth also forecast into the future. Spain is one of the most dynamic tourist economies in Europe and Elandis is committed to its presence there, along with sister company Aria Hotels, which this year has also announced its expansion into the Iberian Peninsula.
