Aria boosts its portfolio in Greece this summer with new properties
Aria Hotels has added new properties this summer to its portfolio in Greece and offers 32 different options in boutique hotels, villas and apartments throughout the Mediterranean in various settings and locations.
The Water is a charming waterside property on the Greek island of Skiathos, part of Sporades island cluster in the northwest Aegean Sea, famous for its sandy beaches and pine trees. The small holiday residence complex comprises eight rooms in a fully renovated building in the picturesque old port. It is directly on the sea front with lovely views of the tiny Bourtzi peninsula that divides Skiathos port into two distinct parts.
The Patriarca, a charming boutique hotel in Apollonia on the island of Sifnos, is an historic building originally constructed in 1650 and was once the home of Gregory Zervoudakis who became the Patriarch of Constantinople. Centrally located, within easy reach of the cathedral and harbour, the house features a swimming pool and still feels like a private home. This latest addition means Aria has a presence on each of the four islands of the Western Cyclades as Sifnos joins Aria’s other properties on Kimolos, Milos and Serifos.
In addition, Aria has now taken in the award-winning Grace Mykonos boutique hotel that the Libra Group has owned since 2007. The property is a perfect complement to the Aria Hotels collection which seeks to offer authentic hospitality experiences with simple, effortless charm.
Finally, construction work is well under way on The Island Concept luxury boutique hotel with completion scheduled for March 2020. This dramatically located hotel lies on a self-contained peninsula at Agios Nikolaos in Lassithi on the north-east coast of Crete. The property, featuring a private beach, will comprise 15 rooms and suites – many with private pools – a restaurant and bar, swimming pool and spa complex.
