Aria expands its presence in Athens

Located on Tripodon street in the Athens neighbourhood of Plaka, Aria Plaka Residence is an authentic neoclassical house in what is probably the oldest part of Athens, having maintained the same name for over 25 centuries. Accommodating up to four people and fully renovated, this beautiful property is ideal for couples, as well as groups of friends and families who can use it as base for exploring the Greek capital of Athens and surrounding areas. One of the first roads designed in modern Athens and a major axis of the city’s first town plan, Ermou Street is a one-and-a-half kilometre-long road connecting the Kerameikos archaeological site with Syntagma Square through Monastiraki, Psiri and Thiseio. Its length takes in the city’s best-known and busiest shopping street with fashionable boutiques and a number of international brands, bustling pedestrian zones, and one of the oldest churches in Athens, the Byzantine Church of Panaghia Kapnikarea. World-famous Syntagma Square is located directly across from the Greek Parliament Building. It is surrounded by numerous shops and restaurants and marks the start of the 40-acre National Garden, south of which is the Zappeion Mansion, the Presidential Mansion, and the Panathenaic Stadium (the only example in the world built of marble) where the first modern Olympic Games were held in 1896.
