Berenberg Bank provides Lomar with $42.5 million funding facility
A $42.5 million funding facility has been provided to our shipping company, Lomar, by Berenberg Bank. With headquarters in Hamburg, Germany, Berenberg is a full-service investment bank and has been a partner of Lomar for many decades.
The latest funding will support Lomar’s ongoing fleet renewal and development. Today Lomar’s diversified fleet numbers approximately 65 container vessels, bulk carriers, chemical and product tankers. Earlier this year we announced the completion of Lomar’s $1 billion newbuilding investment program covering 43 new containerships and bulk carriers.
