Elandis acquires 14,000 sq m land for villa development in Northern Argentina
More residential villas to be added to the Grace Cafayate hotel complex near Salta
Elandis, an international hospitality and real estate ownership, development and property management subsidiary of Libra Group, announced today that it has acquired 14,000 sq m of land on the Estancia de Cafayate residential and sporting estate in the Salta region of north west Argentina. The plan is to add up to ten more two-bedroom residential villas to Elandis’s existing Grace Cafayate hotel and villas complex on the estate. The villas will be sold to private buyers but made available for hotel guest usage when owners are not in residence.
Grace Cafayate is a hotel, spa and residential villas development that opened in November 2013 and is managed by Elandis’s sister company within Libra Group, Grace Hotels. The hotel development forms part of an exclusive golf, equestrian and residential estate high in Argentina’s Calchaquí Valley, famed for its spectacular backdrop of The Andes and for some of the finest wines in South America.
Grace Cafayate currently has 52 keys comprising 12 rooms and suites in the hotel’s main building and a further 40 guest rooms within the 20 residential villas. The room count will now increase with this latest land acquisition. The architecture throughout the development draws inspiration from local traditions.
The hotel has a fine dining restaurant plus indoor and outdoor heated pools. There is also a fully-equipped spa and gym. All amenities are available to owners of the residential villas.
Villas owners can also enjoy the facilities of La Estancia de Cafayate, including an 18-hole championship golf course designed by Bob Cupp, two polo fields, the Clubhouse and the magnificent Athletic Club and Spa that features indoor counter-current heated swimming pool, a 300 sq m gym, three tennis courts and a squash court.
