New grant from Google helps Seleni to spread the word
Google ‘Ad Grants’ program provides free online advertising worth $40,000 per month
We are thrilled to confirm that Seleni has become a recipient of a ‘Google Ad Grants’ award. The Google Ad Grants program supports registered nonprofit organizations that share Google’s philosophy of community service to help the world in areas such as science and technology, education, global public health, the environment, youth advocacy and the arts. Google Ad Grants is an in-kind advertising program that awards free online advertising to nonprofits via Google AdWords.
This award, in the ongoing amount of $40,000 per month, directly supports the Seleni Institute’s mission to provide the care, information and research funding critical to supporting mothers and families by helping attract new audiences and advocates to the articles, information, and insights available on seleni.org.
Commenting on the grant George Logothetis, our Co-Founder and Treasurer, and Chairman and CEO of the Libra Group, stated: “It is so gratifying that Google have recognized that one of the greatest challenges that faces us is an ability to spread the word to the many women who are suffering in silence. Seleni’s ability to reach out to them on AdWords will make a real difference and we thank Google for their generosity”.
